Position Summary The Welding and Quality Control Engineer ensures quality of products throughout the manufacturing process. He/she applies in-depth knowledge of product specifications, properties and characteristics of metals, testing equipment and engineering principles to create efficiencies for the shop, while ensuring our products meet customer specifications, code and regulatory requirements. Key Accountabilities Conducts research and development investigations to develop and test new welding processes. Manages the welder qualification process. Improves existing or recommends new welding equipment to improve efficiency. Develops new or modify current welding methods, techniques or procedures.
