This position administers the loan portfolio for the bank including direction and oversight of all loan production. Manages and mentors all Commercial Lenders and the senior Retail Lender. Sets goals and objectives for growing the loan portfolio. Acts as a Senior Commercial Lender managing a portfolio of about $40MM, including new loan origination, participation loans, renewals, and collection activities. Travels to meet with customers and secure new commercial loans. Responsible, along with the Chief Credit Officer, to maintain and modify the bank's Credit Policy. Acts as Director of Special Assets to include implementation of policy, procedures, and infrastructure for effective workout practices to reduce substandard assets and maximize recoveries for the benefit of the bank.
