Job Description JOB SUMMARY (Briefly state why this position exists) Repairs and maintains company vehicles and mechanical equipment such as engines, motors, pneumatic tool, refrigerated systems, and other equipment by performing the following duties. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONIBILIES Perform PMI's on trailers, refrigeration units, and other equipment. Perform Repairs, Troubleshooting and Diagnostics of Thermo King and Carrier Units. Must be able to work without direct supervision and have efficient use of time management. Knowledgeable of computer related applications and software. Issue work orders for all work performed using shop's fleet management system. Train and assist other technicians in all the above areas. Other duties as assigned by Management Requirements QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each primary duties and responsibility satisfactorily. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Two year certificate from college or technical school, with minimum of three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience; or eight (8) years on-the-job experience and training that includes a minimum of five (5) years repair experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of employees. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. JOB DESCRIPTION CONTINUED REASONING ABILITY Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATION Must have EPA 608 Type 2 Certification, Thermal King Certification. PHYSICAL DEMANDS Work is medium to heavy in nature. The employee must be able to safely lift 50 lbs. - 75 lbs. occasionally. Repair work requires excellent hand and finger dexterity. Must be able to pass the D.O.T. physical each time and the Professional; Truck Driver (DDC-PTD) test each year, a requirement of Sysco. There may be sufficient noise requiring the employee to shout in order to be heard. You must be able to read text that is close and at a distance with or without correction. Trailer backing and forklift operation requires distance vision. In addition you must be able to perform manual tasks, talk or hear, stand, kneel, sit, reach, bend, communicate and interact with others. WORK ENVIRONMENT Activities occur both inside (protected from weather conditions but not temperature changes) and outside. Employee is periodically exposed varying climates with temperature ranges from zero to 100+ degrees Fahrenheit. Hazardous conditions exist, such as proximity to moving mechanical parts, electrical current and working in high places . EQUIPMENT OPERATED Trailer, welder, grinder, cutting torch, forklift, pneumatic tools and a variety of hand tools.

Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: To serve our customers by safely and efficiently transporting product from the warehouse by driving a tractor trailer to various customers and properly delivering and unloading product according to customer invoices and company standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: Safely transports product from the warehouse to the customer location and ensures product is delivered on a timely basis, according to assigned route. Unloads product from trailer, by hand or using hand cart down ramps, stairs, or docks, in all weather conditions and places in designated customer storage areas according to customer specifications and company standards (e.g. handling product according to preferred work methods, scanning product as it is delivered into the store). Pick s up, load s and unloa ds damaged goods and customer returns, and transports products back to SYGMA warehouse . Ensures all paperwork is completed according to established company and governmental guidelines (e.g. DOT electronic or manual logs, inspections, company vehicle maintenance reports and pre and post-trip reports are completed accurately and submitted on a timely basis, ensures all invoices are accurate and turned in daily and all damages and shortages are reported promptly). Ensures all food safety protocols are met according to established guidelines (e.g. proper temperatures are maintained in the delivery vehicle, product is inspected for visible damages prior to delivery, product is delivered and stored to prevent cross contamination) and m aintains sanitary conditions in tractor and trailer; assists with maintaining sanitary conditions in the warehouse and yard. Follow s preferred work methods at all times, and immediately advise s management team of any unsafe conditions. Maintain s and safely operate s all assigned equipment, including but not limited to hand cart, pallets, load bars, SLS unit, and personal protective equipment. Develops and establishes good relationships with customers by providing excellent and courteous service with clear communication. Communicates with management team regarding any deviations to route, trailer or loading issues and/or customer or product issues. Safely transports product picked up via backhauls and line hauls and ensures picked up product is correct and is delivered on a timely basis, according to established company standards. Works assigned schedule and works outside usual work schedule as needed to meet customer needs; exhibits regular and predictable attendance. Other duties as assigned by Management. Requirements REQUIRED MINIMUM EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE High school diploma/GED/equivalent degree, plus 1 year of tractor trailer driving experience preferred. Completion of a tractor trailer driving school will be accepted instead of, or in addition to a high school diploma. CERTIFICATIONS AND/OR TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS: Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License. Must be insurable to operate a vehicle as a condition of initial and continued employment. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Knowledge of: DOT regulations; Hazmat guidelines; Safe lifting and delivery practices. Skill in: driving over long distances, over a variety of terrains and in varying weather conditions, communicating with customers; solving problems; delivering product. Ability to: drive a tractor-trailer unit both in the day and at night in a variety of traffic and weather conditions and remain alert and aware of surroundings; meet or exceed minimum productivity levels established by the Company; handle hazardous materials and food and restaurant items that are frozen, dry and refrigerated; operate a 3 axle tractor, 45' - 48' trailer, straight truck, on board computer, key pad and a 2 wheel hand cart; read, write and communicate in English as it relates to the job and to the safety regulations; perform basic math functions (e.g. add, subtract, multiply, divide); effectively plan and organize work activities independent of direct supervision; solve problems. Job Description POSITION SUMMARY: Provides general support to the distribution center and Human Resources Business Partner in all aspects of the HR function. This includes recruiting, payroll administration, employee relations and compliance. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS/RESPONSIBILITIES: Works with HR Business Partner to facilitate recruiting functions including coordinating internal and external job postings, advertising placement, recruiting strategies, recruiting presentations and job fairs; screens applications, contacts leads, conducts phone and in-person interviews and forwards qualified candidates for departmental interviews; ensures candidates in applicant tracking system are dispositioned in a timely manner. Coordinates job offers, creates offer letters, schedules pre-employment checks (e.g. drug and physical testing, background checks, MVRs); ensures associate's new hire paperwork is completed and accurate according to established company standards; contacts new hires to confirm start date. Performs payroll processing including miscellaneous payroll files, paid time off buyouts; provides assistance with data entry when needed and sorts and distributes paystubs and communication documents. Conducts new hire orientation; completes I-9 forms, reviews general HR policies, procedures and benefits with all new hires; follows-up with all new hires and gathers feedback on the recruiting and onboarding process and on training, identifies trends and works with HRBP to put plans in place to continuously improve the new hire experience. Organizes new hire paperwork, creates and maintains associate personnel files according to established company standards. Works with HRBP to respond to and resolve associate relations issues; conducts investigations and works with management team on appropriate resolution to associate relations issues (e.g. coaching, corrective action). Maintains positive associate relations through attendance at department or pre-shift meetings; keeps open communication channels with associates by having daily dialogs, answering questions and explaining policies and procedures; monitors associate morale and submits and respond to ideas to improve associate engagement and enablement. Maintains absenteeism records and coordinates appropriate employee absenteeism corrective action with department managers Assists HR Manager with event planning, employee recognition programs and project work.
