The pay and benefits for this Physical Therapy position are very generous. This Physical Therapist (PT) position is in the Home Health setting doing homecare visits with adult and geriatric patients. The Physical Therapist is NOT required to have home health experience-- we will accept Physical Therapists with a year of experience with adults or geriatrics (a year of licensed experience) in any of the following settings: skilled nursing facility SNF, rehab center, healthcare center, outpatient, inpatient, assisted living facility ALF, homecare / home health, adult daycare center, or hospital. This Physical Therapy position is with a homecare company that has been in business many years, therefore it has stability and longevity. Benefits of the Home Health Physical Therapist position: - The pay is $80 per visit and each visit takes around an hour with travel and paperwork time. For full-time 40 hours, the PT is only expected to do 25 to 30 patient visits per week, so the Physical Therapist would make between $104,000 per year ($80/visit x 25 visits x 52 weeks = $104,000) to $124,800 per year ($80 x 30vists x 52 weeks - $124,800/year) depending on how many patient visits the therapist chooses to do each week. In addition the Physical Therapist is welcome to do over 30 visits per week and make extra money. Doing just 5 extra visits per week would make the therapist $20,800 extra per year.
