Your OpportunityThe Risk Organizations Sr. Finance Specialist opportunity is a vital member of the Corporate Risk & Internal Audit Finance organization. This position provides financial management, insight and guidance to our Risk Organizations business partners in support of the Three Lines of Defense Model. The Sr. Finance Specialist plays a critical role in the financial consolidation and reporting for the Risk Organizations. This role will demand good oral and written communication skills, strong analytical and organizational skills, attention to detail, and a consistent passion for education and growing.What you are good atEngage with business leaders across many management levels and geographical locations.Build and maintain financial models to advise strategic decision making.Facilitate ongoing forecasting and the annual budgeting process.Lead monthly close process around expenses, personnel, and related metrics.Help drive business decisions or influence Corporate Risk & Internal Audit investment decisions to further scale, efficiency, and automation.Perform other financial reporting needs as required by the business, ad-hoc analysis and projects.What you haveBA/BS in Business, Finance or Accounting with a minimum 2-4 years of relevant Financial Planning & Analysis experience Demonstrated aptitude to identify issues and seek resolutions.Must be able to devise and articulate solutions to a wide range of business problems and deliver high-quality and measurable results against often unstructured and ad-hoc work results.Excellent communication (written / verbal) and social skills. Comfortable collaborating with staff and management and to work optimally in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment.Strong financial analysis, modeling, and data manipulation skills; proficiency with key finance concepts (variance analysis, investment / cash-flow analysis, etc.) and attention to detail.Strong PC skills, including high proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint and financial modeling.IBM Planning Analytics (PAX) and / or PeopleSoft Financials experience a plus.#LI-MG3Why work for us?Own Your Tomorrow embodies everything we do!
