Job Description

We're looking for a candidate to fill this position in an exciting company.

Success in this role calls for the ability to work with the Board of Directors to identify strategic opportunities and ensure accountability, financial, operational, human resources, and administrative efficiency and performance excellence throughout the organization.The Executive Director leads and communicates effectively with the interdisciplinary health provider team members to deliver the highest-quality, seamless primary care. The Executive Director also collaborates with community partners to meet the needs of patients.
  • A Master's degree in health administration (or related discipline) from a recognized university; or a combination of an undergraduate degree with significant management experience, preferably within the not-for-profit and/or primary health care sector (a previous background in healthcare would be considered an asset)
  • minimum 5 years progressive management experience in medical administration, community health or a social service setting (within a rural setting would be an asset)
  • superior knowledge, leadership, experience and communication skills
  • proven proficiency with office-based information technology
