We're looking for a Human Resources Intern to support our manufacturing operation in Marysville, OH.

The Human Resources Intern provides exemplary HR services to Supply Chain Operations at our Marysville, OH manufacturing facility, with expectations to work 30-40 hours per week, within a flexible schedule. Working hours would be typically within normal business operating hours from 8am-4pm, with flexibility as needed. This role will assist HR team with on-site recruiting to support staffing seasonal and full-time production positions and supporting temporary staffing efforts. They will also help with coordinating New Hire Orientation. In addition, the Human Resources Intern will help ensure compliance with all employment and compensation laws.

What you'll do in this role:

? Responsible for learning and assisting HR Manager with the full life Cycle Recruitment for non-exempt full-time and seasonal production positions. This includes supporting a staffing strategy, managing internal job postings, creating requisitions, coordinating recruiting efforts, conducting phone screens, scheduling interviews, working with managers to make final selections and job offers.

? Process pre-employment background checks, drug test and physicals.

? Update applicants and candidates status in e-recruiting tool.

? Complete electronic I-9's and e-verify.

? Assist with and Communicate New Hire Orientation details.

? Assist HR Manager with providing guidance for associate relations services to associates in the form of facilitating open communication, answering questions and resolving pay issues.

? Assist HR Manager with providing HR support to supervisors and managers.

? Assist with maintaining employee HR files according to company and compliance guidelines.

? Provide excellent customer service to associate and candidates.

? Drive a positive culture that creates an inspiring associate experience.

? Support HR Projects as needed.

What you'll need to be successful:

? Working toward Associates or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or a closely related program.

? Proficiency in MS Word, Access, and PowerPoint required.

? Prior internships, preferably in Human Resources field or experience in a staffing/recruiting role in a fast-paced manufacturing/supply chain environment.

? Knowledge and experience in utilization of e-recruiting system preferred.

? Knowledge of sourcing techniques, employment law, and behavior-based interviewing.

? Excellent analytical, oral, and written communication skills.

? Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with schedule flexibility

? Demonstrated knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, practices and state and federal employment law.

? Professional demeanor with the proven ability to effectively work with all associates across the organization.

? Exceptional interpersonal, and communication skills.

? Keen business acumen and attention to detail.

? Adaptable and flexible with the ability to work well under changing dynamics and ambiguity.
