Enterprise Finance drives financial management for the company and maintains and enhances risk and financial controls. Key functions within Enterprise Finance include finance and accounting; Treasury; corporate development, mergers, and acquisitions; Data Management and Insights, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence, Enterprise Shared Services, Business Process Management, and Corporate Strategy. Enterprise Finance informs shareholders, regulators, taxing authorities, team members, and leaders of the company's financial performance through earnings releases, investor meetings and conferences, and meetings with regulators and credit rating agencies, following appropriate reporting guidelines. They also maintain and enhance risk and financial controls and lead many of the company's shared services functions including corporate properties, security, and global services.
Corporate Finance Testing Team works in close collaboration with business analysts, designers, and developers, from the project definition stage, through development, and final deployment into production. The team supports numerous applications related to Oracle General Ledger and its tools which are used for Financial Reporting.
In this position, we are looking for a Business Systems Consultant 4 to join Corporate Finance Testing Team. This Business Systems Consultant will be responsible for primary development of testing strategies. This Business Systems Consultant will serve as liaison between business and technology teams to understand business requirements and functional specifications and is responsible for handling the most complex quality assurance and test environment problems and issues.
The ideal candidate will have strong testing experience with Database, Java, Internet & Intranet based Applications.
Acts as a lead in the creation, preparation, and conducting of quality assurance reviews and the development and execution of test plans & test scripts for both Front End and Back End processes
Works with client to establish and maintain a consistent test methodology and to resolve questions during the testing process
Lead testing discussions with partners to resolve testing challenges and provide solutions to complex test problems
Analyzes, tests, and certifies application-specific software and performs ambiguity reviews of business requirements and functional specification documents
Uses advanced knowledge of applications to provide technical assistance in identifying, evaluating, and resolving highly complex test problems
Logs, tracks, and verifies resolution of software and specification defects in Quality Center
Documents all phases of Quality Assurance process
Directs and serves as a mentor to less experienced staff
Experience in UNIX Environment: understanding of scripts, FTP, logs, & error files
Automation tools like Quick Test Pro, Load Runner
Testing Java, Internet & Intranet based Applications
Testing Data Warehouse & Data Mart projects
Quality assurance methodologies, standards and best practices
Software development life cycle methodologies and the documents which support the testing functions (ie test cases, traceability matrix, and test plan)
Experience working on Bank Financial Reconciliation process or tool is preferred
The salary range displayed below is based on a Full-time 40 hour a week schedule.
