job summary:

Our Client, a Finaicial Services provider based in St Paul, MN is looking to add a Sr. Project Manager to serve as the go-to supporting the design/build of an ERP financials suite. You'll report to the Program manager and partner with a systems integration partner and internal PMO to drive quality outcomes. Intimate knowledge in and around ERP deployments is critical to being successful in this role.

  • Accountable to ERP Implementation Program Manager
  • Responsible for managing business functional teams in tandem with system integration (SI) partner and internal PMO to drive quality outcomes
  • At a high level, this role would be the "go-to" resource for business team leaders during the design/build of the ERP financials suite
  • Understanding of business financial functions (general ledger, financial reporting, accounts payable, expense accounting, allocations, planning/budgeting/forecasting, reporting, data validation, etc.)
  • Effective communication skills are essential to this role, including the ability to carefully balance affability with assertion
  • Key activities include:

    • Co-management of design workshops with SI partner and business leads
    • Partner with team leads to ensure actions, decisions, assumptions, and other RAID elements are being completed comprehensively and in a timely manner
    • Partner with ERP Implementation Program Manager to escalate issues, roadblocks, major decisions, etc.
    • Management of business team-specific implementation plan elements

  • Desired:

    • PMP certification
    • S/4HANA Cloud implementation experience
