Job Description :In the role as Business Analyst, you will be involved in the full development lifecycle and will work closely with all stakeholders during the conceptual, design, development, and production stages of each project. In this role, you must possess the ability to discuss, manage, document and present your work and design decisions effectively to varied audiences. You will also perform complex statistical analyses that apply to initiatives to support business strategies. Additionally, broad-based business and analytics knowledge is required in order to anticipate emerging issues and be able to recommend subsequent strategies and business directions.
Role & ResponsibilitiesGather business requirements from existing documentation and from meetings with stakeholdersConducts stakeholder interviews with a focus on business/process requirementsDocumenting net-new business requirements based on stakeholder interviewsMapping current business requirements to future business requirementsTransitioning business requirements to data architects for their technical specificationOwning documentation and maintaining such on SharePointCreate swim-lane/workflow documentation to capture cross-functional activitiesCreate diagrams to depict various business states e.g.Visio, PowerPoint)
Experience in banking and familiarity with regulatory reporting and compliance7 + years of experience in any of the following: credit cards, mortgage and home lending, retail banking, financial lending, loans, lines of credit, retirement planning, estate/wealth management, collectionsKnowledgeable in at least one compliance area: BASEL, SOX, AML, FDIC, OCC, CFPB, FCPA, FATCAFamiliar with data analytics, reporting, dashboardStrong written and verbal skillsAbility to work individually and in groups- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting Business Administration, Economics, Information Systems, Applied Mathematics or a related field or equivalent education and experience
