AitA is looking for a Senior Data Scientist with an advanced degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics/Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a similar quantitative field and hands-on experience with all manner of data sets and research methodologies and experience delivering business insights. This is a customer facing role working with Sales, Data Science and Development teams. This data expert will work directly with customers and stakeholders to turn business problems into data analysis questions, unearth deep insights from data, and deliver the right business impact by clearly recommending a strategy and supporting the approach with data. The Ideal Candidate will: have an advanced degree in M.S., or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Data Science, Economics/Econometrics, Statistics, Operations Research, or a similar quantitative field 5+ years experience with statistical, ML or data mining algorithms for real world problems. 5+ years hands on experience with advanced ML techniques for classification, regression, recommendations, or pattern recognition. 5+ years hands on experience with one or more statistical software like R, SAS, Tableau, etc. 5+ years experience with developing and operationalizing product metrics have a solid foundation understanding of core data science concepts, statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms and experimental design.have strong skills in econometrics, decision sciences, machine learning, and data mining. have a track record of innovative thinking and Big Data problem-solving. are self-driven and show ability to deliver on ambiguous projects with incomplete data. have deep familiarity with statistical models and methods (time-series analysis, regression analysis, experimental design, hypothesis testing, etc.). have strong skills in SQL , R, Python, and related tools for large scale analysis. have excellent communications and interpersonal skills. have experience designing and implementing neural networks (simple NN, ConvNets, RNN, GANs) have experience applying Bayesian statistics to real-world problems. have the ability to convince other strong personalities of their ideas and communicate complicated analysis & insights to non-technical audience. have very strong analytic, communication, leadership and interpersonal skills required as interface well with all levels of the organization, partnering well across all geographies and functions are able to travel internationally up to 35%.have have Airline/Travel industry experience (preferred) are multilingual (a plus) have experience leading and managing people (a plus) This is a full-time position with benefits.
